Explore Teacher Preparation

On Saturday, Dec 2, the EMU College of Education hosted an Explore Teacher Preparation Open House to introduce local high school students and parents about the teacher preparation programs in the Dept of Teacher Education. Dr. Michael McVey represented the LTEC programs and shared some emerging technology in the form of a drone with about 20 prospective teachers and their parents.

The Graduate Research Conference (GRC) is a celebration of graduate student research and creative activity in a professional conference format.

Graduate students of all disciplines, colleges and degree designations (masters & doctoral) are encouraged to apply & participate in the GRC.

Tech Talk for K-12 Educators @ Mercy High School, Farmington Hills, MI

Mercy High School in Farmington Hills, MI is hosting a Tech Talk for K-12 Educators on Friday, February 27, 2015.  Last year they drew 250 regional educators and anticipate 300 attendees this year.

They welcome EMU graduate students (and EMU faculty) as presenters. If you present, you will receive free registration and a gift card.  The application deadline is November 15. If you are interested in presenting a 50 minute session, go to
